Fudge and Mabel are proud to present an intermediate needle felting workshop, to be held at the Red House Museum and Gardens, Quay Rd, Christchurch, BH23 1BU

Come and learn a fun and therapeutic craft and use beautiful sustainable wool to make your very own needle felted character. This workshop will run from 10am to 4pm over 2 days, Friday the 29th & Saturday the 30th of March.

£125 per person (includes a special treat of a coffee/tea and a delicious slice of cake from the Red House Museum Cafe).

The price also includes a large felting set containing heaps of wool, a felting mat, needles, finger guards and wire armature, all yours to take home with you at the end of the day. Bottled water is provided but please remember to bring with a packed lunch. Other refreshments can be purchased from the Red House Museum Cafe.

The workshop will cover:

*preparation of the wool, use of different materials and tools

*Wool/Fibre wrapping techniques, shaping and creating a detailed 3-D sculpture.

* Using wire armature, wrapping and building form.

* Shading, creating depth and finishing techniques.

* Shaping, posing and displaying.

* This is an intermediate workshop and you will need to have attended a beginner’s needle felting workshop before, to ensure that you have a basic understanding of needle felting.

Fri 29th & Sat 30th March - Hare with armature (Beginners/ Intermediate)
