felting wool mixed colour sets

I use so many different colours and breeds of wool in all of my creations and sometimes only need a small amount of a colour to add a detail or to accentuate a feature. I have learnt that you do not need to have vast amounts of wool, but rather a good core wool and a good range of colours!

This listing is for small mixed bags - packed in 15 different colour sets . This is the finest selection of felting wool that you will find.

Each set contains 5 colours and between 20 to 40 grams of pure high quality felting wool. See specific wool qualities below:

Merino Felting Wool - dyed into 50 simply sumptuous colours -  24 Micron pure Merino Wool Roving.
This wool is ethically sourced from South Africa and dyed in the U.K to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, Product Class 1 and is non-toxic and colour fast.

British Breed Wool - all natural un-dyed colours. Bluefaced Leicester (26 micron) - simply perfect, fine and felts well.  Shetland (29-31 micron) - soft, yet fast felting wool - one of my favourites!

Jacob (33-35 micron) - a very good core wool, felts fast and creates a good stable base to felt with. Herdwick (about 40 micron) - a very fast felting wool but is coarse, and will need to be covered in a smoother wool to finish. Very good for larger projects.

Bluefaced Leicester Curly Locks - fancy a bit of curl in your creations, these stunning British breed wool locks are perfect - 10 stunning colours (white is un-dyed and has natural colour variations)

International Breed Wool - all natural un-dyed colours. Norwegian (33-36micron) - fine, lovely texture and felts well. Corriedale (25-30 micron) - a good all round felting wool.

Finnish (28 - 30 Micron) - lovely texture and fast felting wool, also good as a core wool. Merino natural (24 micron) - simply beautiful natural colours run through this wool - it is one of my favourites!

I have tried to represent the colours as best possible and to give you an accurate description, but please note that the colours shown may vary slightly - as this will depend on what kind of device you are viewing this listing on. Commercially processed but may still contain residual natural organic particles.
